Adobe CS 6 for PC.
|
After relearning Adobe Flash half of this semester I thought I'd give a tutorial on a technique that makes it easier to animate moving objects using Adobe Flash CS6. I created the object in illustrator and imported to flash and went to town. Motion tweening is a very simple process that lets Flash do most of the work for you while also condensing the file size. I did mean to show you how to export the video once you're done but it was cropped for some reason. To export the video, you just go to File and export movie. Flash does give you a couple of options but I usually save as an AVI file and just choose a location.

Animation Experimentation
|
ReflectionThis project was very entertaining. Since I've had prior experience with animation, I wanted to try to push the boundaries of my knowledge and learn other programs and incorporate more aspects than just animating figures. I focused more on learning Flash CS6 and worked on special effects, sound editing, and photo editing with rotoscoping to create this animation. The backgrounds were once photos and appropriate. They were broken up into layers and live traced in illustrator and Photoshop. I was able to simulate flashing lights, fog, and panning using Flash with a process called Tween. There was hand drawn animation as well. I ran out of time to finish the colors and lost some of my footage because of a system crash. This got me looking better computer setups to process demanding needs and rendering effortlessly. I learned more about scratch disks and the utilities that improve the quality of life of this extensive process.

Plane and Simple

Reflection
This project was difficult to start up. The group and I had so many ideas that grew very quickly and it was difficult to condense and choose what we wanted to focus on. What we came up with was to make a community garden with focusing mainly on designing a composition or blue print, so to speak, of the garden. It was fun to think of many ways to incorporate design qualities into several themes.

The hardest thing about this project was trying to condense all the information behind the work of this artist. It was great to delve into the struggle that an artist goes through and eventually make it work. I especially focused on what he went through and other plans he had before he ended up working with his medium.

The Millennial Generation
|
Script
The Millennial Generation. Look it up. It was predicted to have a strong sense of community, not only locally but in a global scale. There was a key invention that brought this to light, the internet. Dubbed, as the information super highway, we are able to appreciate cultures, ideas, news, and dreams instantaneously with only a click away. Staying connected with friends, family, and the people around you has never been easier. Food, wine, beer, and spirits are still a grand commodity, this will never change. We build for tomorrow but live in today. Hash-tag Pitch in. Hash-tag Community.

The making of this podcast was really dictated by the script. I found it difficult to use images with no people because of the main topic that I focused on, which was the idea of community. It was great to look into what has defined us thus far as a generation, but the definition of this generation is still in progress...
